Join us for a mass cycle ride – Friday 9th June

Will you join lots and lots of cyclists for a mass cycle ride to call for a dedicated cycle pathway from Tonbridge to Tunbridge Wells?

Imagine it, on Friday 9th June 2023 from 6.30pm, hundreds of cyclists will ride together, showing our community what the future of safer, healthier, cheaper and more planet-friendly travel could be here on our doorstep in Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.

Everyone is welcome – so will you sign up today – it only takes two minutes:

Whether you’ll join us for healthier, cheaper, safer commuting to work or to the shops, for our children’s safety, for a greener planet or you just LOVE to feel the wind in your hair – come along and show your support for a dedicated cycle pathway.

Mass cycles – the gathering of hundreds of cyclists all travelling together in a big block, will help our community, and most importantly our council, imagine what a new future could look like. They are now being carried our all across the UK. With your support on the day, we will inspire new enthusiasm for a dedicated cycle pathway.

Where when and how

The cycle starts from two spots, join us on Friday 9th June 2023 from 6.30pm at either Tonbridge Station or The Fiveways (Millennium clock) in Tunbridge Wells.

The two cycling groups will then cycle along the A26 London Road and end up on Southborough Common – gathering to celebrate and listen to an update on our campaigns next steps.

So please, join us for a peaceful cycle and show your support for healthier, safer and cheaper travel:

We need our whole community represented in all its diversity. Whether you cycle daily as a commuter, weekly popping down to the shops, or only a few times a year (when the suns out!) – please join us and together we will make the cycle route a reality.

Even those who are thinking about cycling but are waiting for the right moment – please come and join us on the common and learn more about the campaign.

Thank you for your support – see you on Friday 9th June 2023 from 6.30pm.

Tom

p.s. thinking of coming? – please sign up here and let us know – it helps us plan the event 🙂
